OMG COUPLAND SEQUEL TO MICROSERFS OMG excuse me, let me wipe my chin as it is covered with drool. I read Microserfs when I was 18 and working at IBM. The very next summer, I started my first (of 5) stint at MS. That book mirrors my tech career. So happy!!

Douglas Coupland will be in NYC doing a reading on June 14 at the Union Sq Barnes and Noble. The excerpt he read from jPod last tour was awesome. Wish I was there to go!
Yeah, I’ve seen both, but neither of them appeals to be as they tend to be heavy on the geek/male news which I see elsewhere. I like del.icio.us b/c it tends to dig up more obscure stories.
I’ve soured on both. They seem to be populated by DailyKos fanatics who can only be shouted back at by Little Green Football fanatics. But I wanted to suggest them to you because they seem to be indicative of how the Internet and democracy relate.
Microserfs is one of my favorite books ever. I hadn’t heard of the sequel, so thanks for linking to it.
